LUANNE SCORES HER FIRST NO. 1 HIT IN EUROPE!
This week, "Solace In The Wind" reached No. 1 on the European Country Music Chart (Belgium). The chart is the largest and oldest in Europe and positions are calculated by radio spins on FM, AM, Internet and Satellite stations.

Luanne is back in the studio recording a new project with legendary Branson, Missouri guitarist Mike McAdoo (Osmond Brothers, Mel Tillis, Boxcar Willie). All the songs haven't been chosen yet, but the first one, "Carolina Moon," is done and ready for mastering. The CD will have a contemporary country feel, accentuated by fiddles and Luanne's signature harmony vocal singers.
The project, entitled "Spaces & Places," is scheduled for release this November.

Listen to Luanne's new single "Paper Moon" on the audio player. The tune features a clip of a 1940s recording of her grandmother Mary Gambone singing "Paper Moon" on Coney Island. Her father, Louis Gambone, had saved the vinyl record all these years and recently had it converted to an mp3. Thanks, Dad!!!
Award-winning guitarist Mike McAdoo produced the track and played all the instruments. Mike is a regular performer at the Oak Ridge Boys' Mansion Theater in Branson, Mo and also was the Osmond Brothers guitarist for six years.
Luanne's longtime producer Eric Uglum sang the harmonies.

Breaking Through" continues to hold its No. 1 spot on the Roots Music Report folk chart. The RMR chart is the No. 1 Independent music e-zine chart in the world. Positons are determined by radio spins worldwide.
Luanne's song "The Sun's Coming Up Over Memphis" peaked at No. 20 in late 2009 on the New Music Weekly (NMW) Charts. And it peaked at the No. 9 spot on NMW Top 30 Country Indie Chart. Congrats to her co-writers, Steve Hunt and Kathleen Brennan!
