Three-time Grammy-balloted indie music star Luanne Hunt releases her 21st studio album, “Portraits in Song,” a country/Americana and folk-rock testament to her persistent determination to strive for excellence in all aspects of her craft.
The lead single, “Midnight Rain & Roses,” has been hailed by critics as memorable, captivating and one of Luanne’s best songs to date.
“Luanne has a real hit on her hands with ‘Midnight Rain & Roses,’” said Sleeping Bag Studios. “It’s a cross between Fleetwood Mac, REM and even a little Tom Petty thrown in the mix.”
Over Hunt’s 27-year career, she has scored 17 No. 1 hits on independent charts around the world. The Florida resident was inducted into the Independent Superstars Hall of Fame in 2016 and is the recipient of six American Songwriting Awards and three CD of the Year awards from the National Traditional Country Music Association.
